INITIATIVES

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Staff volunteer at The Salvation army which is committed in serving the underprivileged in the community without discrimination. We also have the provision of taking one day leave for the same. On average a minimum of 8-10 hours of volunteering is completed by each employee.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Our staff volunteer with The Salvation Army, supporting the underprivileged without discrimination. Employees can take a day of leave for volunteering, contributing an average of 8–10 hours each.  Additionally, we facilitated the donation of Sands Hotel furniture to victims in Malaysia, extending our commitment to community support.

Backyard Productions

Backyard Productions is a local co-op initiative by FoodXervices Inc, aligned with Singapore’s “30 by 30” goal to produce 30% of the nation’s nutritional needs locally by 2030.

It is a co-op of local agritech farmers using advanced technology to grow fresh, sustainable produce in Singapore.  This collaboration brings high-quality local ingredients directly to businesses, ensuring freshness while supporting sustainable farming.

Queen Bee

Appointed as a Queen Bee Company by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), we launched Xcelerate Academy to upskill employees in the food and wholesale trade industry.  In partnership with Ngee Ann Polytechnic, we will offer Sustainability and Digitalization training led by industry leaders to drive change. The program goes live in April 2025.

Employee Policies & Training

We prioritize a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace by maintaining clear policies on fair wages, benefits, and flexible work arrangements. Our commitment to employee well-being includes family-friendly initiatives and comprehensive healthcare coverage for all.​

To foster a safe and inclusive environment, we provide an anonymous grievance mechanism for reporting discrimination or harassment, alongside an open-door policy for direct communication with senior management. ​

With a diverse team representing multiple nationalities, we foster an inclusive workplace where talent thrives. Women make up a significant part of our workforce, including leadership roles at both management and board levels. We are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and fair hiring, ensuring professional growth without bias.​

We believe our success is driven by employee growth. That’s why we conduct regular performance assessments and invest in continuous learning, with each employee undergoing training hours in sustainability, AI, and the WSG Career Conversation Program (CCP). Our ongoing awareness programs also reinforce energy conservation, waste reduction, and anti-corruption practices.​
